If you are in an abusive situation and are not able or ready to leave, it’s important to think about how to keep yourself and others in the home safe. Creating a safety plan can help lower risk and optimize safety. Every plan should include places you could go if you left your home and people who might help you when you leave.
Domestic violence service providers offer direct support to those affected by domestic violence. These providers offer essential services such as emergency shelter, counseling, financial aid, and legal advocacy to help survivors find safety and heal from the effects of abuse. Service providers offer compassionate care, tailored to the specific needs of the local communities they service.
