Receive Housing Resources Through A Housing Advocacy Intake

Homeless or Pending Eviction? We Can Help!

If you are currently homeless, pending eviction, owe past due rent,or are facing other housing related issues, we can help. Tell The World Ministries (TTWM) provide information to resources, make referrals, and advocate for your right to receive services you may be eligible for.

Housing the homeless is a public health issue

We believe housing is a human right; that every person deserves to live in housing that is safe, clean, and affordable. Our goal is to assist individuals and families with low-income, sporadic income, or zero income - receive housing subsidies that will aid in achieving housing stability. Without housing -without a place to lay your head, to shower, to put your stuff-  you will encounter great difficulty in searching for or maintaining employment, pursuing an education, cooking nutritional meals, or ultimately working toward becoming a homeowner. Homeless children 10 and under, homeless persons with a chronic physical illness, mental health or cognitive disorder, homeless persons diagnosed with a terminal illness or diagnosed with an illness requiring daily use of electronic equipment or medication needing refrigeration, and homeless pregnant women - face greater risks of deteriorated health and even homeless-induced death. So, housing stability becomes a matter of public health and is of utmost importance for homeless persons to be housed.

phone or video intake appointments

Your FREE Housing Advocacy Intake appointment may be conducted by phone or video conferencing. Your session will take between 30-45 minutes. You will be asked a series of questions. The purpose of the intake is to gather enough information about your housing history and housing needs, to better evaluate which programs and services you need and may be eligible for.

protection of your information

Any information you share, will remain confidential. We will only share your information after you have given us written consent to do so and only when sharing your information is deemed necessary in our advocacy to reach the best outcome for your situation.

Preparing Needed Documents

Prior to your Housing Advocacy Intake appointment, it would help greatly for you to gather recent letters from your landlord, any Eviction Notice served, copy of your “Answer” to the Court, and the copy of your Writ of Possession or Judgment For Eviction (if applicable). It will also be helpful for you to gather your proof of income, your DD214 (if you are a Veteran), your State ID, information about your disability (if you are requesting “Reasonable Accommodation” for a Live-In-Aide or other housing related needs or wish to apply for a HUD-811 Voucher: which provides subsidized housing for People with Disabilities that need support services). Try to log in about 10 minutes before your “Housing Advocacy Intake” appointment, just in case you have technical difficulties. We look forward to assisting you with your housing needs.

trusting god through trials

Proverbs 3:5-6  Amplified Bible

5 “Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart. And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6 In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him. And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].”
